This evening the liver specialist and liver surgeon spoke to us. They decided that they do not have time to waste with a liver Biopsy. TanaLee's liver is past the point of correction. They know that there is nothing left that they can do to save her liver. Today they have listed TanaLee on the National List for a liver transplant. Her listing category is at 1B. She could be getting a liver transplant quite quickly so the doctors objective is to get her as ready for a transplant as possible.
The CT scan came back. The liver surgeon studied the films of her CT scan and concluded that there is too much pulmonary congestion for surgery. So they are going to be going up on her albumin and Lasics. They still have her on TPN with lipids to make her grow as much until they get her a new liver.
