April 9, 2010 (147 days old)

TanaLee is doing pretty good. She had a PDA Ligation yesterday around 3pm. She had no complications. Most amazingly no blood loss! She has problems clotting blood so they were worried about doing the surgery because they thought she would struggle to stop the blood loss.

Today TanaLee is on 30% O2 and she seems to be comfortable. She was looking around and through a fit because she wanted to be on her other side. Things are looking better on a lung stand point.

She has a long road ahead of her but she's working at it every day. Doctors are still trying to work on keeping her dry and not collecting extra fluid. She gets a drug called "lasiks" a few times a day to make her pee alot!

The doctors are working on getting her well enough to be considered for active transplant again. They say they will re-evaluate her for transplant on Monday but continue as is through the weekend.

Sorry for no pictures today. I forgot the camera at the house but I will post pictures tonight once we see her after dinner. So check again around 8pm, I will try to have them up by then.

Thank you all so much for your support. It means a lot to me and Jeremy. We love you all so much for being with TanaLee and us during these bumps in our road.
