No time like a nail biting time...

No i'm not a nail biter but its a phrase that is universal for: Crap, i'm nervous!

Time and Time again I have mentioned or posted about my niece Genesis. Well today is going to be another time.

Confession- I'm scared out of my mind for the coming day that approaches. Genesis will undergo yet another open heart surgery to fix or replace the leaky valve. Doctors plan on going in to just repair the valve but they wont know if they must do more until they get her in on the operating table.

This scares me for several reasons, my niece has only endured one heart operation and that was when she was about seven months old and could not verbalize her pain or walk ect. She is now two and can do all of the above and more. It also pains me to see any child/baby hospitalized but especially when its family and when they are stuck with tubes to breathe and lines coming from all directions to drain or pump something out or in. This brings back to mind all sorts of memories with TanaLee. To now see her cousin dealing with such awful things is unspeakable. Please keep Genesis in your thoughts as Monday December 5th approaches. Until that day arrives I'm nervously keeping myself busy and trying to stay positive minded.
